Every word I wrote was derived from my own emotional reflection and experiences, and I cried alot while writing this. The artistry and story of the original Thanatos novel and from Yoasobi’s genius inspired me to write my own take of the two characters, as well as the backstory of the main lead.
Notes:
The main male lead/ Protagonist lived a childhood void of any parental love. His hatred of passing time and clocks in my story is reflected by the ticking clock lyrics in ‘Into the Night’. To him, the sound of time only reminded him of tragic times, and every second that passed.
The paint splashes that covered the eyes of the characters, the butterflies, the red tones in the M/V, was reflected in the backstory written here. Thanatos was also shown to look similar to his childhood love that was lost.
