Xander Nemeos, fourth in line to the throne of Nemeia, has inherited a land coveted by powerful neighboring kingdoms. Nemeia had been the holy land of the Oncan realms for centuries, standing as the recipient of the Selene Cult's favor and second only to the moon temple itself. However, years of sustained decadence within the royal family slowly but surely made the kingdom fall into disrepair, and the very priesthood that had championed them since its inception now condemned them.

With his father and older siblings now dead, having paid a toll of sins with their blood, Xander has to regain his kingdom's glory among the hostile rulers who see this opportunity too tempting to ignore. With enemies on all sides beyond Nemeia's borders and a disillusioned people within them, will Xander take the dirtied crown and rise up to glory? Or will his head be the next to fall?
