In The Chronicles of Krarshe, embark on a thrilling journey as Krarshe ventures beyond the comforts of home in search of excitement. However, destiny has other plans for him. Entrapped in a cataclysmic battle to safeguard the mortal realm's future, Krarshe must embrace his unexpected role as a hero. He learns that sometimes, even against our own desires, fate impels to heed the call of destiny.
Inspired by the captivating stories shared by his free-spirited grandfather, Krarshe embarks on a journey to seek his own adventures, and finds himself enrolling in a prestigious magic school. But, his naïve expectations crumble upon discovering that this realm is far from the utopia he imagined. In this world, where corruption lives and magic holds unfathomable power, The Chronicles of Krarshe: The Hearts of Men weaves a spellbinding narrative of self-discovery, insidious machinations, and profound friendships.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my book. It really means a lot to me.
I just wanted to say two quick things:
First, this is a slower paced series. I pray you take this into consideration.
Second, at the behest of one of my readers, his name is pronounced "kr-ar-shh". The "e" at the end is silent, and the intent is to draw out the "sh" sound.
That's all. I hope you enjoy. Thanks again!

Yeah, that was one of the bit critiques I got from beta readers. The pace in this first book is very slow.
Finally seems like things might start happening. It hasn't really felt like things have been progressing
I wonder if the lightning was an effect of perfect pronunciation, or if it had to do with the amount of mana
I wonder what kind of beings they are, the mother doesn't even know what a dress is!
Hell's Kitchen: Remonnet Edition, Claire even acted like Gordon Ramsay
Krarshe must have a stomach of iron to keep up drinking with a dwarf

Honorable move by Krarshe
Oof, I feel for the awkward senior student that was tough to read
That was awesome!!! Can't wait to see the teachers reaction!
Since there's no where for author notes, figured I'd make a comment.
Hey everyone. I know volume 1 seems to end abruptly. I originally was going to have the entirety of "The Hearts of Men" as one book, but as I continued writing, I realized it'd end up being unwieldy. As such, I decided to break it up into a few volumes, and this just happened to be the best spot to end volume 1 before things heat up.
On that note, volume 2 is well on its way, and I'll be looking to get it uploaded once I feel it's ready for public viewing. I hope you look forward to it and Krarshe's continuing adventures.
