Football Island

Reo, a prodigious talent who's gone as far as the Japanese U-14s, sees football as more than just a sport; it's his canvas for self-expression and the path to realizing his dreams. However a cruel twist of fate leaves him sidelined by a devastating injury. Compounded by his parents' divorce, he and his mother and sister seek a fresh start away from the city, with Reo wanting to distance himself from the sport he once cherished.

As if he were a mere joke to the forces of luck, their destination, a small island called Hinami in the Shinrin Archipelago, just so happens to be obsessed with that very same sport. Reo, the fallen star, finds himself thrust back into the football world against his will. He's now tasked with leading his team, the Hinami Pirates, in a league comprised of neighboring island teams, all aiming for glory. Will Reo's perspective on the sport transform?
