Now, I'm not all that familiar with sports media, so I won't be rating this as a sports enthusiast, but just on how much I enjoyed seeing Reo's journey overall. He starts off distant from his friends and teammates due to a tragic backstory, but as the story goes on, with some pretty serious rivalry with the other teams, he gradually reopens himself again. I think its brilliant that each losing game was one of the key things helping the main character overcome his interior conflicts because of the presence of his supportive teammates. The characters are well-developed and the romance takes a pretty nice, slow-burn pace. Each of the characters are also unique, and all of them are pretty likeable, intriguing almost. A hella good read AND its beginner-friendly for newbies on sports like me!
