When Robert Smithson travels to Japan to attend the funeral of his former music teacher and world renowned composer Henrik Weisel, he hates every second. Having to pretend to socialise with a high society he is know longer a part of drains him mentally. Not understanding either the reason for his attendance or the direction his life is going, he is overtaken by confusion.

That is until he is rescued from a social faux pas by someone from his past, starting a chain of events that will change Robert's life forever.
