liz has been hopelessly obsessed with her classmate gerald, despite his continued rejections. In a twisted act of desperation, she kidnaps him and takes him to an abandoned mansion. There, the boy discovers a beautiful painting of a girl in a Victorian dress. He is approached by an apparition, who claims to be the girl from the painting and offers to grant him a wish in exchange for something else.

Taken in by the illusion, he accepts the offer, but soon realizes that nothing is as it seems.
