Long, long ago, the goddess of chess, Caïssa was born alongside her younger twin sister Assïac. Assïac would soon come to be known as the goddess of spoilers, yet once Caïssa became the goddess of chess, Assïac was often drafted to play her. This would eventually lead to great strife between the two.
This novel will be on the shorter side as it is essentially a spin-off of En Passant Grandmaster. I intend to port all the chapters from this novel to that one as the characters of Assïac and Caïssa will be relevant there. However, I felt some might want to just read the mythos I've crafted separately, which is why this novel exists. I hope you enjoy my take on Caïssa and Assïac's backstory.
