Note from author

My novel is Alt-History and divided into two Acts. Any similarity to other works is coincidental and unintentional. Important note: THERE IS NO TIME TRAVEL IN THIS BOOK. I PROMISE.

A million thanks to Vivian W. and Jax G. for helping me brainstorm, and for their cool ideas. This novel is not a collaboration—it is all my work—but I would still like to thank them.

You’ll find this novel is pretty lengthy. It’s a biggie, much larger than the standard contest novel, but it still ended up pretty condensed in the grand scheme of it all.

And if you’re actually reading this, hi! There’s an ARG associated with Parallel in Two now, starting from Chapter 16 and using five-letter codes scattered throughout the novel. They’re not just in chapters, either.

Get this—there’s even a code in the author’s note you’re reading right now. It’s not hard to find, but it’s a little different than the others, so good luck! (Do let me know if you partake in the adventure.)
