In Rio de Janeiro in 2145, a city where skyscrapers float above favelas and flying cars cruise the skies, technology has amplified social divisions. Lara, a self-taught hacker from the favelas, wants more than just survival: she seeks justice in a world that has forgotten the less fortunate. When she discovers “Project Aurora,” a conspiracy to grant immortality to the rich while the poor are abandoned in drone-controlled zones, she becomes a threat to the system. Alongside Dante, a security officer who questions his loyalty to the elite, they face virtual battles and real dangers in a power game that could determine the fate of all humanity. But the revolution they dream of may cost more than they are willing to pay.

The story was born from my fascination with the impact of technological advances on society and human relationships. Lara and Dante fight for change in a divided world, facing ethical questions such as immortality and social justice.
The theme “Harmonic Future” imagines a future in which humanity’s greatest challenges have been overcome, but there is still the struggle to maintain this balance. This book goes beyond an adventure and romance story, bringing reflections on what it means to be human in a digital world.
