Within the first few chapters I was impressed with how in depth the culture around the cat people was, and that never faltered throughout the whole thing. It’s done in such a realistic way that I really haven't seen done with demi-human people. Other stories always either make it comical or just a flavoured up human with no real culture relating to their animal. I think this story struck a great balance, also introducing the prejudice that spawns from the difference with humanity.
