At the close of WWII, a figure was found in Ground Zero of Hiroshima. Said figure, dubbed a 'Pinnacle,' outputted an intense amount of energy. Yet before it could be studied, it was stolen by rogue scientist Ned Flynt. Thanks to this newfound miracle, unlimited energy was supplied to the United States. Russia scrambled to mirror its foe, locating its own 'Pinnacle' and devising its own systems.
Thanks to this infinite energy, the Cold War became an ice age.
Centuries into the future, business is booming and capitalism rules the west. Russia became a terror pit of the east, concrete and secrecy now dotting half of Europe.
