This book focuses on classic themes of class struggles that exist across history and rebellions that occur. The book features politics, growth, love, fighting and betrayal all which make a great story. While it is set in the past, it feels more modern. I like the planning that went into it.
I think the author would have done well to ensure that the names of the characters matched throughout the story. Sheer was sometimes referred to as Shear and Tum as Tim. This had me questioning whether there was a new character I had missed. I also noticed a few mistakes that could be fixed with better proof reading
