Matsushita Gina is a poor 17-year-old boy who strives to become a singer, as that was his childhood dream. Unfortunately, throughout his childhood, his father neglected him, beating him up over simple things. His mother divorced his father after finding out he cheated on her and left the house. Matsushita wanted to end this hell he called life, but before he could, a classmate at his school, Okubo Hikari, came up to him. She was a young child star and was expected to become an idol in the future. They became best friends, bonding over music, and they were hanging out every day when his father would pass out from drinking, or went to a bar. After two years, she had to move to Tokyo, which left Matsushita alone again. Eight years later, his life couldn't have been more miserable, and while falling into depression, a new transfer student, who is said to be a famous idol, came from Tokyo.
