Synopsis

A group of childhood friends reunites after it is revealed that the world will end in one year. With nothing left to hold them back, they decide to go on a road trip across Japan, visiting the places they once dreamed of seeing. Along the way, old memories blend with new ones, long-hidden feelings are confessed, and they learn that the end of the world isn’t just about saying goodbye—it’s about truly living for the first time.
Trigger Warning. This is a very dark story that devolves into something akin to realistic horror. Please be aware that it handles the concept of the end of existence in a somber, serious tone with lightness sprinkled throughout.

Note from author

[The End is Now] Thanks for reading! This is my attempt at a Slice of Life story when "Life" itself is ending. What is youth when adulthood will never come? What is the purpose of existence if it's going to cease soon? Six friends set out to find the answers as the world careens to oblivion. Inspired by The Little Prince.
