On the top of the hill between two villages lies a sakura tree. The ghost of Uehara Chiharu is said to curse students who confess their love there to get rejected. Sasaki Sakurako is a cynical girl who doesn't believe in love despite receiving many confessions. One day she heads up to the the sakura tree, curious by the so-called "ghost", but she ends up meeting Uehara Chiharu...50 years before.
