Perhaps it is impossible for man to venture beyond the limits of their own perception and bias in order to meet another one of their kind halfway and attain true acceptance and contentment. Or maybe it happens so often that it is foolish to assign it any kind of greater value and it is a state that comes easy as breathing to people.
Regardless, to not take a step towards such a favorable state takes a peculiar type of madness.
Meet Elbert, one such fool. He lacks any notion that he may be imperfect. This leads him to wholeheartedly believe any conclusion he comes to is correct and any deviation constitutes an aberration. Yet there is a flame within him that illuminates his surroundings within the dark forest of the world.
After losing his life, Elbert finds out he has been summoned to a realm populated by another humanity, largely similar but eerily different. Will his idiosyncrasies be conducive to fitting in his new environment? Or will he succumb due to his moral failures?
