During the day of the solar eclipse, 16-year-old Shiro Ryūme, intelligent and resident gaming nerd of Ichiban High School, wakes up one morning after having an extremely weird, yet intense dream. Chalking it up to him possibly getting sick, his mind drifts elsewhere and proceeds to get ready for school. Ichiban High was hosting a special event during lunch to experience the solar eclipse out in the courtyard. While it was a completely optional event, and Shiro wasn’t usually the type to partake in these events, he figured he would since everyone else was and he didn’t want to just be sitting in the classroom alone. As the solar eclipse began, and darkness fell upon Japan, an unexplainable phenomenon occurred and because of this, Shiro would be thrown into a whole new world of adventure, changing his previous ordinary life forever…
