(Un)fortunately, a chance encounter with "Gravity Saint Alicia" and a truck snaps him out of this lull, sending him hurtling straight into a new world where he's quickly discovered by the greenhorn Templar Annabelle.

Greeting this reality with a thwarted suicide attempt, he discovers a fantasy world operating on Quanta TCG lore: cards are spells, magicians are everywhere, and his encyclopaedic knowledge of the game becomes... something. Branding himself as "Primot," he journeys across Calice with his companion, unknowingly fulfilling an ancient prophecy of a man able to control all twelve elements and save the world—so long as he learns how to forgive himself before his survivor's guilt overwhelms him.
