(Un)fortunately, a chance encounter with "Gravity Saint Alicia" and a truck snaps him out of this lull, sending him hurtling straight into the game's world where he's quickly discovered by the greenhorn Templar Annabelle.

Setting off on an abrupt journey after a thwarted suicide attempt, he discovers a fantasy world operating on Quanta TCG's mechanics: cards are spells, magicians exist in abundance, and his encyclopedic knowledge of the game becomes an asset. Branding himself as "Primot," he stumbles upon his latent quanta, awakening powers that fulfill an ancient prophecy of a man able to control all twelve elements...so long as he comes to terms with the survivor's guilt that followed him between worlds.
