The Hero Abel Wright and the Demonness Kane Sato are champions of their respective alliances, hellbent on destroying one another at the behest of their nations.

But what happens when Hero and Villain realize they're both from Earth? That the battle of good and evil isn't as black and white as either side claims, but rather a stage set with the audience in attendance the very Gods that sent them there?

Armed with their powers of Order and Entropy, the duo hatch a daring plan, one that will shake the foundation of their adopted world. But no plan survives contact with the enemy, and if Abel and Kane are to break the shackles of their assigned roles, they'll have to put aside their bloody past and work together to become more than just a Hero and a Villainess of someone else's play.
