To start my incredibly biased review, yes. That's a WWE reference.
This novel is incredibly fun to read. I thought that I wouldn't enjoy it because it seemed like it was about windows, buuut... I was wrong. In the end, I discovered a pretty cool tale about one's quest for identity and getting stoned, pun intended.
The characters are lovable. As an Ametrine simp, I have to say that. Its easy to grasp and get behind everyone's personality. I didn't have a moment where I had to stop and question the rationality behind their decisioins. Most importantly, they're really really fun to watch. Most of the strongest points of this novel is definitely the chillest moments where Celsian and Ametrine are just pissing each other off.
Its biggest weakness is that it ended too fast. Everything that happened towards the end seemed too plot-driven that it felt like the characters were a means to serve the plot so that the story could end, the princess being the biggest example. I don't know if you need to hear this, but... you write kickass characters and you should trust your ability to use them. Them beating the golem and overthrowing the kingdom could have been an overarching plot. You could have settled for your characters to have a smaller goal. You could've taken the time to showcase the intricate world you made, even more so your characters—which I know for a fact that you have a lot to tell about.
Still... even with all that. I want to tell you that you rock, yes pun intended. You've created something good. Don't stop writing.
