In an alternate 17th century, a Jesuit missionary-in-training is sent to the realm of monsters. He's given the pseudonym Ephreal, and instructed to cross the torii gate at the edge of the known world. His mission: traverse this uncharted realm with nothing but the cloak on his back and a book of names in his arms, find the lost souls inscribed in the pages, and return them home.

Only faith can save them now.
