DOH! I took out an entire chapter thinking it was unnecessary but as I'm editing later chapters I realized I really DO need it (haha). I have added it back: "The Meeting" (Chapter 12). It's a cute little thing that details how magic wood works BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: It introduces Grove! LOL.
I wanted to write something a bit more interesting than, "I got pulled into another world and became overpowered" and "I reincarnated pretty much exactly the same as I was, except now overpowered."
What fun is getting pulled into another world if you're basically the same? You already lived a life as a human male/female! I've always found that the most interesting isekai stories are the ones where the characters become something different (spider, vending machine, different species, different sex, etc). We need more stories like that! So I wrote one 👍
