The alarm rings- and you wake up

There's a ghost in the kitchen- he makes you coffee.

You're the ghost and you haunt the halls

There was a weight inside you, now it’s gone and left a hole

You fill it with things that last, it can't really last.

If you can’t fill the cracks, build another wall.

You don't need to cut yourself off entirely

You don't need to remember- at least not yet

You're in a coma and waking up is never easy

Surviving and living are different things- you know that

You're still lost but it doesn't matter.

It's not okay but it will have to be.

You are still a ghost, do not think otherwise

In my head I'm still yours and it was just like before

The morning air is biting cold, but we get up anyways.

Blink and it's gone. Savor it to pass.

Projection is a fantasy you can't afford, kindness is not

Confusion now hath made his masterpiece
