This novel was created for MyAnimeList x Honeyfeed's 'THE ISEKAI' 2025 writing contest, in collaboration with KADOKAWA.
The story you have in your hands is a self-contained narrative: the tragic origin and the heroic sacrifice that starts it all. The 80,000 word limit of the contest has allowed me to tell the first two story arcs in their entirety.
However, this is only the first thread of a much larger tapestry. The universe of this work is designed to explore up to six alternative timelines, where the consequences of this first sacrifice generate new heroes, villains and wars.
