I've seen many isekai in my time, but this one stands out among the rest for it's unique usage of the formula. The way 'our' world and the 'other' world are connected feels fresh amongst the genre and you can feel a lot of lore going on in the background with the concept of the Throne and those who fight to claim it.

Seeing grand wars and complex battle strategies also feels rare in many isekai, though I find myself wishing there were more smaller down-to-earth moments with the characters, so we can more familiarize ourselves with them outside the ever-present oppression and war themes that bleed into every situation.

Still, I enjoyed what I read, and I am curious to see where the story will lead.
