After becoming a Demon King through years of studying magic in a modern world where magic does not exist, Synthara fights three other Demon Kings in a battle for the universe, destroying the old world and making a new world of magic and monsters together. Now they must conquer the new world they created and became the last Demon King standing to regain their lost power and become master of the universe.

In her quest to find allies for her crusade, she finds Wilhelm Starrk, reclusive prince of the Ragna Kingdom. As his patron goddess she dubs him her prophet, the one who will spread her name and lead her armies against the other Demon Kings. Together, a king wages a bloody crusade in the name of his goddess to conquer all of existence. Through military strategy, magic, insanity and will, they overcome all of their enemies in glorious conquest while uncovering the secrets of what a Demon King is and why they are the ones who write the laws of the universe.
