After another devastating rejection from her dream job, a depressed young woman dies alone in an accidental fire in her apartment, bemoaning the state of her life and family as she fades away. Upon waking up, she finds herself underwater, entirely alive and unharmed. After meeting a young man nearby, she embarks on a journey upwards with him, a longshot goal to make it to the fabled paradise island above the surface of the water. Through the confusion of the new realm, Camellia searches for a way to redeem herself from her past life. With animalistic magic and a crew of good friends, she learns to make the most of what she's got and enjoy the time she has — or she'll die trying.
This is my submission for THE ISEKAI! Creating an entirely new and fresh world was a little bit of a challenge, but I've really enjoyed the process so far.
