What is change?

When merit meets the strength of individuals who shatter that perception, the strong can barely hold on. A single individual, Dante Retsu, is challenged in another world, sent there along with his son, Goro Retsu. A whole new world, vanquished from his previous life and family. Can he change to get stronger and get back to his life or will he succumb to darkness, leaving others to venture through a journey that he has forsaken?

Blades of the Shattered Chaplets is an ongoing light novel that is completely original, but similar to Isekai storlylines. Dante is a main part of the story, however the more you read the more you will understand that he sets the story up for what it is. He will not necessarily be the main character, as there are many main characters that it is based around and each of their stories.

To help the readers, I easily separate the dialogue considering there are many characters talking at points with the names of the characters.
