Author Mike is a history buff and pun generator, resulting in writing a novel that blends wit and historical knowledge.
I was initially looking at this novel through the contest eyes and I was hypocritical where when I have restarted it, without conscious bias, I really enjoyed it. This is a very well thought out isekai that is just beginning. I would definitely read more.

What sets is isekai apart from the rest is, is the protagonists who bringsadministration, not magic. Though the fantastical aspect of them being pulled to unite the world is still there. But it has to be done with tested strategies, as they didnt have superpowers. The power option is there but they relied on their own intelligence.

I like how instead of the MCs usually being orphans (ahem), on here, the MCs help orphans and give them purpose and identity.

The premise and plot is not what I expected for an isekai, which is high fantasy based (well mostly), but this is very much one of those “successfully pulled off” pioneers of new style. The moral lesson is good enough reason to be original and stand out, and I am happy the Mike was able to combine all of the things inside his mind (history, isekai, puns) into a lovely novel in Pliniad.
