The year is 2111 - and the world, or worlds by this time - are at war, and this war is known as World War III.

By 2070, the Moon, Mars, and Pluto have been terraformed and colonized.

By 2050 the US, the UK, the ROK, Japan, the EU (lead by Germany), and Canada formed a new alliance known as the Democratic Defense Accords (DDA) - while the PRC, the DPRK, and the Russian Federation formed the Eastern Common Arms Pact (ECAP) in response.

By 2111 - the war has extended into space, with Mars under the ECAP, and the Moon and Pluto under the DDA.

Our main protagonist is Second Lieutenant Tokugawa-Von Preußen Aya, of the JSDF component of the DDA’s Combined Military Forces (CMF) , and this is the story of World War III - and her part in it!
