When the world runs on magic, those that drew the short end of the stick and can’t use it find it best to keep a low profile; Akihiro Hoshino is no exception, discontentedly running his grandparents’ magical salvage shop. Though what he wants means next to nothing to his father, who comes stumbling back into his life after foisting upon Akihiro a new, unknown, and potentially dangerous form of magic that can bend space and time itself. It’s the sort of thing the powers-that-be would kill to get their hands on, and as Akihiro finds out, they tend to take that idiom to heart.
