Agad is a Tagalog word meaning “instantly”. Capturing how the breakup feels from Drain’s perspective— abrupt, and without warning. Yet for her, Hai, the end was never sudden it was a quiet burn-out of love and the slow realization that affection should not feel like waiting.
As Hai learns to choose herself, she recognizes that love should not require self-erasure.
Only then does Drain begin to understand what he has lost. Too late to undo the damage, he carries the lesson forward, growing and becoming the a better version of himself… just not for her.
This is not a story of reconciliation, I never wanted it to be. Sometimes becoming mature doesn’t mean they would end up with each other;)
I WAS in their positions before so I know ball🤩🎂🙏 (not in my current relationship though, he is such a sweetheart tehee)
