At the behest of his mother, Ogi joins the Newspaper Club to try and make his senior year special. Unbeknownst to him, in that club would be another boy; Yuta, the self-proclaimed crypto zoologist, who takes great interest in Ogi's knowledge of a supposed cryptid living in the nearby woods.

As Yuta's interest leads the whole club deep into a world unknown to the common person, will their lives last long enough for Ogi to complete that unforgettable senior year?
