What does it mean to be a hero when the world sees you as a threat?
Arven is an ordinary person with no great ambitions, summoned to another world as part of an ancient prophecy. Unlike the other heroes, he is not welcomed as a savior. His summoning places him in the body of a Dark Elf from the Forest of Fear, a race feared and rejected by the world around them.
Viewed with suspicion and treated as a danger, Arven is sent on a poorly prepared mission to the Forest of Fear itself, forced to represent a kingdom that does not trust him. Surrounded by prejudice, political intrigue, and hidden betrayals, he begins to question the true purpose behind his summoning.
In the heart of this hostile land, Arven meets a resident of the forest, setting him on a path of difficult choices, self discovery, and moral conflict. In a world that fears him, Arven must decide what it truly means to be a hero, or if being human matters more than fulfilling a prophecy.
