One calm day in the forests just west of the sleepy city of Oakhaven. A group of adventurers stumble upon trash mob slimes, perfect for getting experience and levelling up (metaphorically). That is until one of the slimes fights back. Elara Stormwind, rookie adventurer with dreams of becoming a hero, is consumed by a primal hunger.
This is something I kinda lab-ed out while sick so bear with me if it seems weird at first. I was mostly inspired by "That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime", but I've also been cooking up the endgame character this story focuses on for a while. Basically, this is the origin story for a side character I really like in a different story I'm also working on... ADHD is a hell of a drug.
Also sidenote: The series as a whole is aimed more towards +18 readers. There won't be anything too explicit, but it'll get pretty dark and gruesome sometimes.
