The Crushing Weight

Synopsis

Kares is a planet torn between two peoples. The Tria, a race of sun worshipping fire spirits, and the aquatic Kerta, a race of water nymphs that seeks to fulfil the desires of the ocean. Orek is a young Tria who lives his life half-heartedly, not really interested in the day to day of a Tria worshipper, while trailing behind his best friend's accomplishments.

After a tragic accident, Orek finds himself enticed by a face below the waves, seemingly taunting his flame covered body from behind cover. As he pursues the taunting figure, it becomes more evident that his feelings are beginning to change, in a way that might prove to be disastrous for the planet at large.
