Ever since superpowers appeared a thousand years ago, a select few called Sages have been born with innate superpowers every year. However, for the past decade, ghostlike monstrosities named Mirrors have started to appear when the clock strikes midnight.

After losing his mother to a Mirror as a child, first-year high school student Amagiri Shinya swears to destroy Mirrors once and for all. As one of the only people who possess more than one ability in history, he is invited into the elite Umiboshi High School and Asteria Squad, which he joins to fight back against Mirrors and reach his goal. There, he meets his squad members, siblings Mitsumaki Asahi and Tsukiyo. Together, they fight to rid the world of Mirrors – and find out what caused them to appear in the first place.
