How far would you go for the chance to live when hell is the only way out?
Within the walls of Kinkyo University, perfection is not a privilege it is a mandatory expectation. The elite are protected by the Shirakawa Clan’s “White Noise,” a procedure that erases all trauma and negative emotions from the mind without a trace.
Amamiya Hotaru, the sole heir to one of the city’s most powerful clans, is the flawless embodiment of the system from the outside. But beneath the surface, an incurable illness is slowly consuming her, one that even Kinkyo’s advanced elite medicine cannot cure.
Then she discovers that the only perfect genetic donor capable of saving her life is a boy living beyond the Wall that divides Kinkyo, deep within the city’s slums.
Faced with the choice between a certain, silent death and rebellion, Hotaru chooses rebellion.
She leaves her luxurious life behind, stages her own disappearance, and descends into the dark underbelly of the city alongside a disgraced doctor.
