The fantasy elements are there from the beginning though 90% is slice of life and might make it appear as otherwise. However, with most of the chapters being slice of life, the twists are still revealed near the end.
A lot of things do not make sense until multiple rereads. (It is not obligatory. It is written in a way that would encourage so, but in no means is it a requirement to enjoy the story.)
I consider these chapters glorified drafts, and if I could exceed past 80K, then a lot of these chapters would be longer. Especially the ending ones, which are shortened for information giving effect.
A lot of the mysteries will remain unanswered, as this is meant to be a series.
