Synopsis

An epistolary novel written and compiled after the fall of Camelot. The ancient letters, written by a young man named Tacitus, tell of his companion Julia, who was thrust into the position of Princeps—Emperor—after the untimely death of her father.

An exploration of leadership, loss, romance and defiance, as Julia grows from an immature ruler to a burning blaze that will light the way forward for everyone who will come after.
