Boundaries

Konoko Asada is a young up-and-coming mangaka juggling the challenges of publishing her first title and the demanding requirements of her studies at the Tokyo University of the Arts. Wishing to live independently, she has left her childhood home and rented an apartment alongside her best friends Nanako Ogawa and Ichirou Shimura.

Despite the usual ups and downs of every fresh start, the three have had a fairly peaceful life together until Konoko decorates her room's wall with a newly acquired anime poster. Unbeknownst to all, the seemingly ordinary object is quite the opposite—rather, it is a gate to a different world.
