Jay Moreno is a hero, traveling the vast worlds of the Somnium in search of adventure and friendship. That's until he wakes up... becoming Jay Moreno, a shy, self-loathing band kid with a dream to become a Drum Major, a position meant for courageous, passionate leaders.

When he goes to sleep, he travels between the worlds of Earth and Somnium, struggling to understand why he’s such a hero in one… and such a nobody in the other. As he travels throughout the world of Somnium, and begins to take his first steps on Earth towards becoming the leader he wants to be, he starts to truly understand the differences between Somnium and reality, and why he was brought there in the first place.

Can he find a place to call home? Or is Jay destined to stay a loser, even in another world?
