Court life in the fairytale world of Rocosia is picturesque. Ladies play the harp and gossip behind fans, noblemen discuss the latest news from beyond the borders, and Lord Van Loran is bored.
Disliked for his whimsical nature and natural naïveté by the rest of the capital’s court, the young man longs to get out and see the world—but how? His mother’s words come to him: “poetry is the heart of a nation.”
That’s what he said to the High King, and that’s why he’s now traveling the world—complete with a rather unwilling three-guard escort. His mission? To compile a book full of poems from each kingdom, no matter the cost!
Welcome to Rocosia, please enjoy your stay! I’ve been building this world for five years now, and think it’s finally time to share it in a larger way. I share the same sentiment as Van’s mother: poetry, stories, and songs are what define cultures and show what people value. Hopefully you’ll get a sense of what the Fairytale World is all about!
