To be able to understand yourself, it requires a deep-rooted understanding of your own wound. Adventure and prowess are one thing for two young men living in Long Beach, California. To them, the opportunities of starting a new life and wiping away the debts of their old life means more than possible glamour, it means survival.

Jonathan Gutiérrez and Jaredicus Kilman are two young men in their mid 20's, drug addicts who are stuck in a life of monotony and regret. One day Jaredicus brings the two of them an opportunity that will not only wipe away the debts they owe to drug overlord Antonio Santiago, but give them enough money to start a better life somewhere else. However, by accepting this job they put their very lives at risk and get sucked into a criminal underworld that has lasted for generations.
