After a series of harrowing events at the Rem Magic Academy last term, Blake is ready to resume schooling for the new quarter! But a new term brings new surprises with it, and his newly-hatched dragons are just the beginning of the fresh challenges he'll have to face. Now bearing the responsibility of living up to the restored Harker name, Blake must work on building relationships with others. Among his new connections are the noble lady Ramona Emberly, who he finds himself engaged to, and the mysterious new student Sora Black, who he finds himself drawn to.

Can Blake navigate the rough road of relationship-building given his rocky start, and manage to build connections with the other students in his cohort? With festivals, clubs, finals, and five newborn dragons to care for, the path towards becoming a more positive person is definitely a hard one. But Blake is resolved to leave the shadows he trapped himself in last term, and step into the light with his friends.

This is the sequel to my previous story, The Heir of the Dragon. Before reading this one, it would be for the best if you read that book first.
