Stunningly gorgeous British historian Teresa Darlington has her life cut out for her when she manages to travel around the world as a historian who keeps new records, using the age-old but effective way of collecting the record: writing on her notebook.
One day, she is reminded that she has to go to Japan to collect records of... her late grandmother, who was Japanese.
Determined to find the truth about her heritage, she books a flight to Japan. However, what she immediately discovers there might not be the answers that she would be looking for. On top of that, she eventually meets a family who happen to be important to finding out her heritage.
Thus begins the two-month long journey of an Englishwoman, set to find what she is truly uncovering inside her notebook.
I originally have this on Tapas with Intermission Chapters that I wrote for the hell of it all XD. This is a personal piece of mine, because it deals with the struggles of having to accept your heritage while already accustomed to another. The details remain the same, but I have tried to improve some parts of it, as an experiment.
