Through considerable and valiant efforts of the Adventurer's guild and through masterful leadership of the legendary hero "Strix" all of that which is considered evil and impure has been slaughtered or banished and the land cleansed of the malevolent and vile. A new era of absolute peace and tranquility has been ushered and the wicked misty veil that has been plaguing the peoples of Vas'il'yenis for eons has finally been lifted.
Yet, this book tells the story of a different "hero"; one far removed from the utopia that has been established.
