Edo Period, 17th Century.

Terazawa Rin is the daughter of a small daimyo family. One day, her entire family is massacred and Rin is sold off to the temple of a violent cult. Two years later, she meets a powerful shapeshifter who makes a blood oath with her. This creature will lend her power for revenge and at the height of her revenge, she will give it her soul. She accepts and returns as the youngest daimyo in Japan.

This is the story of how one shapeshifter who has existed since the beginning of time amuses itself during the Edo Period.
