The Great Detective Doesn't Fall in Love

Low-profile. Bit part player. Villager B.

Although these terms, increasingly more derogatory, have all been used to describe him at one time or another, Tanizaki Seishi is not bothered - he wants nothing more than to while away his school days with his head buried in his beloved books.

The beautiful Tsukishima Haruhi, however, has other ideas. Dubbed the "Sherlock of Saitama" and a capable amateur detective in her own right, she enlists Seishi's help in solving the seemingly supernatural occurrences that plague their prefectural high school.

Roped into joining the enigmatic New Wave Mystery Society, Seishi is introduced to a world of locked rooms, fiendish plots, sinister automatons, the occasional corpse and maybe even... love? But can romance ever blossom between a detective and her Watson?

It's elementary after all, isn't it?
